Diabetes Prevention and Management

The latest presentation in Grand Itasca’s “Doc Talk” series took place on Tuesday, June 19 at the Itasca County Family YMCA. The presenter was Michelle Overbye, NP. She discussed the prevention and management of diabetes. During her presentation she covered: the prevalence of diabetes, how it is diagnosed, the risk factors, the symptoms, and also the most important things you can do for prevention and management. ICTV staff was in the audience to record this presentation.

The latest presentation in Grand Itasca’s “Doc Talk” series took place on Tuesday, May 15 at the Itasca County Family YMCA. The presenter was Shannon Petroske, NP. She discussed surviving cancer. During her presentation she covered: cancer survival statistics, the phases of survivorship, caregiver information, and much more. ICTV staff was in the audience to record this presentation.
