Alzheimer’s Disease

The latest presentation in Grand Itasca’s “Doc Talk” series took place on Tuesday, February 21 at the Itasca County Family YMCA. The presenters were third year medical students, Carter Rohling and Kelly McKinnon. The pair gave a presentation on Alzheimer’s Disease. During their presentation they talked about: what Alzheimer’s Disease looks like at it’s different stages, what are the risk factors, what treatments are available to help those suffering from it, and more.  The topic of Caregiver Fatigue was also touched upon. ICTV staff was in the audience to record this presentation.

DNR License Changes

In the most recent episode of Just Outdoors host Tom Chapin talks with  Perry Loegering and David Weitzel from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources about upcoming changes to hunting and fishing licenses.


Canadian educator Myron Dueck, author of the book Grading Smarter, Not Harder, was at the Myles Reif Performing Arts Center this week on behalf of the Itasca Area Schools Collaborative to talk about current changes in education - and what to do about them. His presentation will be available to watch in full on channel 2 Mediacom or 32 Paul Bunyan.
