Ready, Set, Go!

With Truth-In-Taxation public hearings to holiday programs, December is an especially busy month for ICTV staff. Along with the normal government meetings there’s always a flurry of extra programs dedicated to celebrating the holidays.  Staff has already covered the Grand Rapids Area Male Chorus performance on Sunday and this Saturday staff will be videotaping the Reif Dance performance of the Nutcracker. Throw in some school programs and we’ve got a lot to cover before Christmas rolls around.  Stay tuned throughout the month to help boost your holiday spirit!

GRPD Chronicles

The GRPD Chronicles crew came back to the ICTV  studio Friday morning to record another episode. Hosts Greg Lease and Andy Morgan talked with Sgt. Heath Smith, State Trooper Tyler Lusignan, Grand Rapids High School Truancy Officer Tracy Rabers, and Kim Geislinger of Ross Resources. We also recorded the Police Chief Scott Johnson in the Chief's Corner and also observed a Sgt. Bob Stein incident captured at City Hall in the Comedy Corner segment.

From the ICTV Archives

Each Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm, ICTV pulls programs out of the archive of past productions and plays them on the Public Access Channel. Coming up on Saturday, December 3, we will be replaying the Grand Rapids Area Male Chorus and Friends Christmas concert from 2012. This will be followed by an episode of Just Outdoors titled, “Snowshoeing for Animal Tracks.” The following week, December 10, will feature the Itasca Community Chorus and Youth Orchestra concert from December 2006.
