From the ICTV Archives

Each Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm, ICTV plays programs from the archives on the Public Access Channel. Coming up on Saturday, March 17, we will be replaying two Grand Rapids Area Library programs: “She Looks Just Like You,” followed by “Chemistry and Chemicals in the Home.” The following week, March 24, will feature: “E-I-E-I Oops! Murphy Elementary 1st and 2nd Grade,” and “Stone Soup Murphy Elementary 3rd and 4th Grade,” both from May of 2012. Keep an eye on ICTV’s schedule to see what’s coming out of the archive next.

North American Bison

Just Outdoor host Tom Chapin took us out in Itasca County this week to take a look at Noth American Bison, the animal commonly refered to as buffalo. He talks with Dan Severson about the animal, the meat, and takes us through the process of slaughter through skinning, cleaning and paritioning of the bison.
